And you?

So today's testing went a little more smoothly than yesterday.
The teachers were gathered at a table grading all the writing samples and giving scores from 1-15 based on writing ability: grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.  so that the students could be placed in the correct Spanish class.

The writing prompt was "Describe your friends.  What do they like to do? Where are they from? What are they like?  Use the entire page."  So most of the papers are kind of repetitive ("My friends are w,x,y and z. We like to laugh and go to the mall... etc.").  But one of them was a lil different.  I got through quite a bit of it without realizing exactly what was going on:

So if you don't read Spanish, let me paraphrase:
"My best friend is someone who knows me and loves me just how I am.  His name is Jesus Christ.  I talk to him in the morning and at night.  He died on the cross for my sins.  I read my bible every day."

Which is kinda... strange... I mean he's supposed to be describing his best friends.  But it's whatever.

Until it gets to the end:
"I've accepted Jesus Christ as my savior.  Have you?  Save yourself by accepting him."

I mean, I'm just grading this paper, and by the end of it I'm supposed to accept jesus.  The lord works in mysterious ways!  I could rag on this all day, but it's a cute little middle schooler, so I wasn't too offended by the attempted conversion thrust upon me.
