Input from French Students
Same question, different language. Again, most complained about the work and the heat so I will only include the ones that stood out.
Some kids weren't so opposed to the visual-based learning, it was the audio challenges that didn't float their boat: (this kid tried to answer in French even though I said they could answer in English, so although impressive it did require a quick translation job by me and my infinite Microsoft Paint skills):
These were really sweet because they are from ESL students and their English is pretty broken, which I think lends a certain poignancy:
